Sokkia SRX3 Robotic Total Station

We utilize a robotic total station manufactured by Sokkia in Japan for many aspects of our work.  The SRX3 instrument has an angular accuracy of 3 arc seconds, and can perform distance measurement using a prism with an accuracy of 2 millimeters plus 2 parts per million times the distance (2 + 2ppm x D).  It can also perform reflectorless measurement (without prism) at an accuracy of 3 + 2ppm x D.  The robotic instrument allows operation by one man and can be effective in reducing the total cost of survey work, particularly on open sites.  It is a fantastic instrument, reliable and efficient.
